When the cold settles in and the season turns cozy, there’s no better time to pick up a simple, satisfying crochet project that you will cherish for years. This crochet bobble ornament has all the charm of winter décor!

For this pattern, we used our Winter Wonderland crochet hook and a medium-weight yarn. You’ll use single crochet and a special variation of single crochet called linked single crochet to create a smooth, sturdy fabric. Whether you’re adding it to your own tree or gifting it to someone you love, this little bobble ornament brings a warm, wintry glow to every stitch.

Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sc: single crochet 
Lsc: linked single crochet 
EOR: end of row
FO: finish off

Instructions:
Ch until the length of your bobble. Sc in the 2nd ch from your hook. Lsc until the EOR. Ch1 and turn. 

Sc1 in the first st. Lsc until the EOR. Ch1 and turn. 

Repeat until this rectangle can fully wrap around your bobble ornament. FO with a tail between 15”-20”. 

Sew the top of the rectangle around the top of the bobble, then sew the first row and last row of the rectangle together down the side of the bobble. Lastly, sew up the bottom of the bobble and weave in your ends.
