About the Designer:
Hello fellow yarnies! My name is Ashlie and I am the designer behind Brindle Babe Designs. I love creating simple yet beautiful western boho style knit and crochet patterns that require as little seaming as possible, can I get an amen?!
Today I'm bringing you a quick and easy crochet wall hanging pattern. This is a great pattern to work on your color skills. This is the perfect project to use up those scraps you might have laying around.

Notes
Banner is worked using intarsia color work. I used bobbins so that I didn't have any floats in the back, I just tied off the yarn at the beginning and end of the color changes. But there's nothing wrong with having floats just make sure they all remain on wrong side of your work. Only one color is worked at a time. A chart is included to indicate color changes, which are also given in the written instructions. Banner is worked from the top down then attached to the dowel at at the end.

Finishing

I recommend blocking your work before adding tassels
Step 1: Add tassels along the bottom.
We will now attach the banner to the dowel
Step 2: Take your tapestry needle, wooden dowel and about 18 inches of yarn. Using whip stich, whip yarn around dowel and through the top sts of your banner.
Step 3: Tie a loop so you can hang your banner.
Step 4: Weave in all ends.
Thank you so much for following along! I would love to see your finished pieces! Please tag me if you share photos on Instagram @BrindleBabeDesigns
