Skill Level- Beginner
Gauge- Chain 5, HDC in the second chain from your hook and in each stitch across, CH 1 and turn, HDC in each stitch across, CH 1 and turn, HDC in each stitch across and finish off. You should have three rows of HDC. My measurements were 1.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches long. I crochet tight, so a 6.00mm hook works for me, if you crochet loose, then I would use a 5.5mm hook

Hook- 6.0mm Crochet Hook. Size down if you are a loose crocheter. Ophire Co.’s Amethyst
Yarn- Weight (4) Worsted
Pattern
Row 1: Ch 21, place 1 SC and 1 DC in your second chain from your hook. *skip 1 stitch, place 1 SC and 1 DC in the next stitch*, Repeat *to* around until your last stitch, place 1 SC in your last stitch, Ch 1, Turn (21)
Row 2-16: Place 1 SC and 1 DC in your first stitch, *skip 1 stitch, place 1 SC and 1 DC in the next stitch*, Repeat *to* around until your last stitch, place 1 SC in your last stitch, Ch 1, Turn (21)
Boarder: Place 2 SC in each corner and 1 single crochet in each stitch around. Slip stitch to your first stitch, Cut yarn and finish off! Sometimes texture makes us lose count of our rounds, I have included boxes for you to check off all of your textured rounds!
